Crowns Generic

The intention of these crowns is that they are fairly simple in design and can be given different tinctures as required. For these generic crowns the words "crown" and "coronet" are interchangeable in most cases. The mural crown may also be described as mortared of a different tincture. (This should really be masoned but this gets confused with the treatment of the same name).

These crowns can also be described as proper, however that generally just means that these simple shapes will be coloured or, although the more common ones may be shown with shaded colouring.
