PRIVY-COUNCIL OFFICE. The seal of office represents a rose and a thistle each stalked, leaved, and conjoined to one stem in base between the royal supporters of England, the lion holding the rose between his forefeet, and the unicorn the thistle. The supporters standing on a scroll, with the words
" Sigill. Priv. Council " ; over the rose and thistle the regal crown of England.
