Argent, two glazing irons in saltire sable, between four closing nails of the last, on a chief gules, a lion passant guardant or. Crest — On a wreath of the colours, a lion's head couped or, between two wings expanded azure. Supporters — Two naked boys proper each holding in his exterior hand a long torch inflamed of the last. Motto — " Lucem tuam da nobis, O Deus " (other mottoes are " Da nobis lucem Domine " and " Lumen umbra Dei "). [Recorded in College of Arms.]
