Tressure
Tressure, or Treschur. The tressure passes round the field in the same shape as the shield. When impaled, it is always to be omitted on the side next the line of impalement. P. 31, f. 6. It is always borne double and flory counterflorv as in the royal Arms of Scotland. "This is sometimes blazoned the Royal Tressure, or the Tressure of Scotland.
