According to the Certificate of Nobility and Arms of 1591, issued by Diego de Urbina in favor of Pedro de Corpas de Loja: Sword per pale: 1st, gold, a lion in its natural color; 2nd, gold and azure lozenges. This coat of arms symbolizes military valour and the line's loyalty to the Castilian and Andalusian crowns.
