Notes
The arms come from those of the Tuchkov brothers 2 of whom died at the Battle of Borodino in 1812 which is near the area. The clouds are a canting element as the name Tychkov comes from the word tycha/туча which means storm cloud in Russian. The lion struck by lightning represents Russia's enemies being struck down. The base represents the town's main industry: The manufacturing of building materials. The arms were approved August 1st 2006 and entered in Russia's State Heraldic Register under serial number 2565
