Notes
Captain-General of the Republic of Venice, Colleoni, whose arms were blazoned Per Fess gu and arg 3 testicules counterchanged, had these augmented by Réné of Anjou, hence the fleurs de lys, in 1467 along with the title "Bartolomeo Colleoni of Anjou". The arms were finally augmented as seen above in 1473 by Charles the Bold of Burgundy along with the title "Bartolomeo Colleoni of Anjou and Burgundy."
