Notes

The first proposal for a flag of Greenland by Aĸigssiaĸ Møller, Leif Aidt, Erik Hammeken, Peter Fr. Rosing and Finn Lynge in 1973. Based on the flag of Denmark and with color reflecting the island's name. It eventually lost out to the current flag of Greenland in 1985 designed by Thue Christiansen.
