The Boïl lineage comes from France, its ancestors Boggis and his son Duke and King Eudes I, passing through Duke Hatto, his son Count Artagarius, his son Vandregisil, continuing through Viscount Aznar and becoming related to the granddaughter of King Aznar Fortun of Pamplona, Doña Maria Fortuñez with Attone II of Alaon until reaching Lope Garcia Aznar, first Lord of Guipúzcoa and Tena and Boyl and his son the first Aznar Aznarez de Boil, of proven nobility and that his great-grandson of Garcia Garces de Boil married a Ximena Ferrench de Luna, this granddaughter of Balcalla Ferrench, also grandson of Infante Fernando Garces de Pamplona, son of King Garcia III Sanchez de Pamplona "the one from Najera", being the grandson of Garcia Garces de Boil, Benito Gerau de Boil to whom is attributed according to Zurita, the first shield until reaching Pedro Guerao II Boil d'Aragon, I Lord of Manises, Baron of Manises, Albalat, Mislata and Benilloba and Steward of King James II of Aragon, according to the Historical Archive of the Nobility and who married Doña Esperanza Altadonna Della Scala Visconti, lineage that exercised the lordship in Verona (Italy) from 1260 to 1387, daughter of Duke Francesco Chichino Della Scala.
